Community Outreach
Scientific Enrichment and Engagement Program – This program brings students of all ages in Chicagoland area schools to UIC. Chemistry graduate student volunteers perform exciting demonstrations to teach the students about the scientific method and what it means to be a scientist.
Science Club – Science Club is a fun, mentor-based, afterschool program for middle schoolers at the Pedersen-McCormick and TrueValue Boys & Girls Clubs. Science Club members team up weekly with Northwestern scientists to experiment with cool science projects.
