The UIC Chemistry Research Symposium is a yearly event open to post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students who want to showcase their research. Throughout the afternoon, there will be a keynote lecture by a UIC alum, three selected oral presentations, as well as a poster session and light refreshments. Students and faculty from all divisions across the Chemistry department will get a chance to interact and find out what lies at the frontiers of UIC Chemistry Research.
In order to be considered for an oral presentation, applicants should check the appropriate box in the abstract submission form. The abstracts will be judged by a panel of faculty members in the same or similar field of study/division. All candidates will be informed of the decision via email.
We encourage you to submit your abstract by filling out the form below and check the box to be considered for an oral presentation by September 5th, 2018.

Please use the following resources to help design your poster. Any poster that would fit on the presentation boards for a GRC or ACS conference are encouraged. A popular size is 36 inches high by 48 inches long. Please allow a 1/2” border for hanging the poster.
Please do not use posters printed on fabric. These posters do not hang well, are lower resolution and wrinkle easily when folded.
